KHA is an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Hampton Wick, just across the river from Kingston upon Thames.
Founded by Keith Hiley in 1981, KHA initially provided architectural services predominantly in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors, including offices, supermarkets, shopping centres, high street retail units, pubs and restaurants, factories and warehouses.
Keith Hiley Associates Limited was formed in 1991 when practice expertise extended to residential developments ranging from large housing estates and flats developments to single dwelling houses.
Residential development clients include Barratt Homes, Bellway Homes, Cala Homes, Linden Homes, Crest Nicholson, Oakford Homes, Rushmon Homes, Michael Shanly Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Wilcon Homes.

Keith obtained two 1st Class Honours degrees for design at the University of Bath and is the Managing Director of KHA, with over 35 years experience in commercial, retail, industrial and residential architecture.
Keith has particular expertise in efficient planning to achieve maximum usable space, negotiating with planners to achieve optimum planning consents and providing sensitive designs to blend in with surroundings, often within conservation areas or with listed buildings.
Outside of architecture, Keith is a keen marathon runner and a member of the 100 Marathon Club. He has completed 263 marathons – and counting!

A traditional "Arts and Crafts" design with a contemporary interior, Willowhale is a detached house in West Byfleet – 700 sq m over 3 storeys, including indoor swimming pool.
Award: Runnymede Borough Council Design Award.
Client: Residential developer Kingsoak Southern Counties (part of the Barratt Group).
A development of 12 flats and 5 mews houses in Chertsey Conservation Area overlooking Abbeyfields. A traditional design to blend in with an adjacent Grade II Listed building.
Award: Pinders Healthcare Design Award National Winner.
Client: Titleworth Ltd.
A self-contained, special needs care home extension to a Grade II Listed building within Surbiton Conservation Area. The extension included 9 bedrooms with en-suites, a new lift, day care facilities with treatment rooms, and a basement hydrotherapy pool opening on to a rear courtyard.
Award: Wolverhampton Borough Council Environmental Award.
Client: Six Continents (previously Bass Leisure Retail).
Restoration and conversion of Grade II Star Listed building and internal alterations to provide a pub and retail units at ground level with loft style apartments on the upper floors. Previously empty and in a state of decay, the building was one of the first steel-framed buildings in the United Kingdom, hence the Grade II Star Listing.
